Red Wine Brownies

Satisfy your sweet tooth with some delicious Red Wine Brownies! These fudgy treats are made with sweet red wine. We recommend Sweet Revenge, Late Nights, or Native Root Red.


  • 6 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
  • 1/4 cup red wine, plus more for serving
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9" x 9" baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Melt chocolate and butter over a double boiler. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. Whisk in wine and sugars. Add eggs, one at a time, whisking well between each addition. Stir in flour, cocoa powder, vanilla, and salt until just combined.
  4. Pour brownie batter into prepared pan and bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Let cool completely. Serve at room temperature with red wine.
