Can I choose my own wines?

You may select the club you would like to be in, but not the exact wines. The Wine Club is designed to highlight limited edition products that are pre-selected for you by our winemaker.

Can I exchange my wine?

We understand that not all wines are for everyone. Therefore, in our continued desire to offer you the best, you may choose to exchange one of your preselected wines each quarter. When it comes to alcohol, there are laws that determine how we can make this happen for you. Here is what you need to know:

  • This courtesy is only available on wines picked up in the tasting room.
  • We ask that you taste the wine in our tasting room first before making the decision to exchange. We cannot exchange opened bottles of wine.
  • You may exchange a bottle for any one bottle of your choosing. Money cannot be refunded, so we encourage you to pick a wine at a similar price point. This is a one-for-one bottle exchange. You are not able to exchange two lesser priced bottles for your exchange.
  • You may choose a wine valued greater than your preselected wine, with the charge of the remaining balance happening at the time of the exchange.
When will my Wine Club Order be charged?

Wine Club allocations are AUTOMATICALLY* charged to your card on file every three months; Feb, May, Aug, & Nov. If you join between shipment months, you will receive the next upcoming shipment. You will receive an email approximately 3 weeks before a Wine Club month with details about when to expect your card to be charged.

*By joining, you are agreeing to your card being automatically charged each quarter for your club selections.

Will I be notified before my Wine Club order is charged?

Absolutely! Approximately 3 weeks before each shipment is processed, you will receive an email to verify your account information, so please read your emails! This is the perfect opportunity to add wines to your order, make alternative delivery arrangements or gab with the Wine Club department about the wines. 

This email will contain the dates of when your card will AUTOMATICALLY* be charged. *By joining, you are agreeing to your card being automatically charged each quarter.

Do I need to be home to sign for my Wine Club shipment?

Yes. Federal Law requires that all wine shipments be signed for by an adult (21+). We recommend using a business address when possible or having your order shipped to a local FedEx or UPS store or retail partner for pick up. This is especially convenient for members who work outside of the home or have busy schedules and don’t want to wait around all day for a delivery. FedEx partners with Walgreens and Dollar General while UPS partners with CVS and Advanced Auto Parts amongst others.

I would like to pick up my Wine Club. Is this an option?

Yes. You can select to pick up your wines in any of our tasting rooms. We just ask that if you would like to change your location, that you let us know. We will cellar your wines for up to 6 months, so there is no rush. You can pick them up at your convenience.

Can I cancel at any time?

You are obligated for one shipment and we hope that you love it as much as we do! If, however, you feel the Wine Club is not right for your needs, you may cancel any time 30 days prior to the next shipment. Cancellation must done by writing to wineclub@stjulian.com

Do you offer loyalty points?

As a Wine Club member, you earn 4 points on every dollar spent (non-members only receive 2 points). Once you have 1,000 points, you can redeem the points for e-gift cards to be used on your next purchase!

Due to strict liquor laws, redeeming your points must be a two-step process. We cannot use the points directly on the purchase of alcohol, they must first be used on the purchase of an e-gift card, that can then be used to purchase whatever you like; wine, spirits in our tasting rooms, event tickets, merchandise, etc. (The only exception is your quarterly Wine Club shipment)

First you will need to put an e-gift card into your cart. You can get one $10 e-gift card for 1000 points ($10 e-gift card for every $250 spent). You want to make sure that your email address is in the shipping email field as e-gift codes get emailed to the shipping email. When you go to the payment information on the checkout page, you can select to use your loyalty points as the payment method for the e-gift card. You are welcome to save your points and purchase $50 or $100 gift e-gift cards as well! Then you will be emailed an e-gift card code that you can use on a separate purchase. This code can be used online or in the tasting rooms and can be used on whatever you like! If you have any difficulties or further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
