St. Julian’s Michigander Wines Celebrate the Mitten State

St. Julian Winery & Distillery, Michigan’s largest and longest-operating winery, debuts Michigander, a pair of new sweet wines that celebrates the state. The lineup includes both a sweet red and a sweet white wine.

The Michigander red wine delivers vibrant flavors of blueberry, eucalyptus, and raspberry. A well-balanced acidity follows and creates a smooth finish. Meanwhile, the Michigander white wine offers crisp acidity with bright notes of pineapple, mango, and lemon zest.

“We are thrilled to introduce these wines that truly capture the essence of Michigan,” says Nancie Oxley, Vice President of Winemaking. “By blending locally sourced grapes, we created a fresh and innovative take on traditional wine. Both the Michigander red and white highlight the best flavors our state has to offer. As a result, they are a must-try for any wine lover.”

St. Julian crafts Michigander wines using Michigan-grown grapes. In addition, these releases expand St. Julian’s growing portfolio. They join other recent offerings such as Strawberry Fields and Cherry Blossom.

Michigander is available at select retail partners throughout Michigan. Consumers can also find the wines at all St. Julian tasting rooms in Paw Paw, Frankenmuth, Union Pier, Dundee, Troy, and Rockford.
