St. Julian Winery & Distillery, Michigan’s largest and longest-operating winery, is debuting two new sweet pink wines: Cherry Blossom and Strawberry Fields.
Cherry Blossom is a sweet pink wine crafted from Riesling and Michigan cherries. It features flavors of cherry and peach, followed by delicate floral notes. As a result, it pairs beautifully with cherry chicken salad, pork dishes, and spicy shrimp.
Meanwhile, Strawberry Fields offers another sweet pink option inspired by a sunny walk through a strawberry field. This wine bursts with flavors reminiscent of strawberry fruit-flavored gelatin dessert, candied strawberries, and a hint of lime. In addition, it pairs well with strawberry shortcake, almond biscotti, and spicy chicken wings.
“St. Julian has a unique ability to introduce distinctive wines to the market, and we’ve proven that over the years,” says Nancie Oxley, Vice President of Winemaking. “Strawberry Fields and Cherry Blossom continue that tradition. From the vibrant color to the sweet aromas and tasting notes, our winemakers crafted something truly special.”
Made with Michigan-grown grapes and fruits, these wines expand St. Julian’s growing portfolio. They also join other recent releases such as Cotton Candy and PB&J.
Strawberry Fields and Cherry Blossom will be available at select retail partners throughout the Midwest. Additionally, consumers can purchase them online, with shipping available to most states. Both wines will also be offered at all St. Julian tasting rooms in Paw Paw, Frankenmuth, Union Pier, Dundee, Troy, and Rockford, Mich.
