St. Julian Winery & Distillery, Michigan’s oldest craft distillery and the state’s largest and longest-operating winery, introduces a new flavored whiskey: Black & Blueberry Whiskey.
This premium whiskey delivers bold, natural blackberry and blueberry flavors. The team ages it in charred barrels and handcrafts each batch in small quantities. They distill the whiskey twice and leave it unfiltered to preserve its rich character. Black & Blueberry Whiskey features 100% Michigan-sourced grains.
“This release celebrates creativity, and we can’t wait for our patrons to experience it,” says Nancie Oxley, Vice President of Winemaking. “It blends nature’s sweetness with our craftsmanship. Each sip highlights vibrant fruit notes layered with smooth whiskey.”
The new Black & Blueberry Whiskey joins three well-established flavored whiskeys in St. Julian’s portfolio. These include Caramel Apple Whiskey, Cinnamon Whiskey, and Peach Whiskey.
St. Julian began producing premium spirits in 1998 using its Christian Carl Copper Still. Since then, the distillery has crafted a wide range of spirits, including vodka, rum, brandy, gin, agave, and whiskey. In addition, St. Julian launched a craft spirits membership club. Members receive priority access to exclusive small-batch releases, including recent offerings like agave, limoncello, and gin.
“With this new whiskey, we pushed boundaries while honoring classic distilling techniques,” says Bob Bilton, Head Distiller. “It reflects both our passion for innovation and our commitment to quality.”
Black & Blueberry Whiskey will be available first to St. Julian Spirits Club members. After the initial release, customers can purchase the whiskey for pick-up at St. Julian tasting rooms in Paw Paw, Frankenmuth, Union Pier, Dundee, Troy, and Rockford, Mich.
