St. Julian Announces New Spirits Membership Club

St. Julian Winery & Distillery, Michigan’s largest and longest-operating winery, is launching a new membership club focused on craft spirits. As Michigan’s oldest craft distillery, St. Julian has produced premium spirits since 1998. The team continues to use its historic Christian Carl Copper Still. Together, tradition and innovation shape the new Spirits Club.

Through locally sourced fruits and grains, St. Julian creates spirits that feel distinctive and memorable. With the Spirits Club, the distillery highlights the artistry behind distillation. As a result, members receive priority access to small-batch spirit releases. These include unique blends, experimental batches, and spirits aged using specialized methods not available to the public.

The first limited-release spirit is Agave. St. Julian crafted this release in the Extra Añejo style and aged it for more than five years. The team matured the spirit at full strength in Reposado tequila barrels. Aging took place at the St. Julian Winery & Distillery facility in Paw Paw, Michigan. The finished spirit delivers rich notes of honey blossom, cedar, vanilla, butterscotch, and toffee. Together, these flavors create a warm, smooth, and silky finish.

“After years of patiently waiting, we are thrilled to introduce our newest creation,” said Nancie Oxley, Vice President of Winemaking. “This agave spirit aged for more than five years reflects our commitment to quality and craftsmanship. We look forward to sharing this exceptional release with our Spirits Club members.”

In addition to exclusive spirits, the Spirits Club offers several added benefits. Each quarter, members receive detailed distiller insights and tasting notes from Head Distiller Bob Bilton. Members also gain behind-the-scenes stories and cocktail guidance. In addition, the club provides complimentary tastings at St. Julian tasting rooms. Members also enjoy exclusive discounts and invitations to special events throughout the year.

“Our Wine Club sits at the heart of the St. Julian experience,” said Cassandra Pone, Director of Wine Club. “Its members inspire us every day. Because of that connection, launching a Spirits Club felt like a natural next step. It allows us to expand our offerings and share the exciting work happening at our winery and distillery.”

Looking ahead, the distilling team continues to develop classic spirits like gin and flavored vodkas. At the same time, they are creating innovative releases such as apple pie brandy and blackberry brandy aged in a Port barrel. The Spirits Club will offer these limited spirits exclusively to members.
