Strawberry Lemon Smash

This recipe features sparkling wine! We suggest our Brut ChampagnePerennial (low calorie option), or our Sweet Nancie sparkling wine for those that like it sweet!

Ingredients

  • 4-5 fresh strawberries diced
  • 2 lemon wedges
  • 2 oz. lemon simple syrup
  • Sparkling wine
  • Ice
  • Additional sliced strawberry and lemon wheel for garnish

Instructions

  1. To create the simple syrup, combine water, sugar, and lemon in a small saucepan. Heat over low heat, until sugar has melted. Set aside for 10 minutes to allow the syrup to cool and infuse.
  2. Squeeze the juice from the lemon wedges into the bottom of a stemless wineglass, mason jar or tumbler.
  3. Add the diced strawberries to the lemon juice and muddle (crush) them thoroughly.
  4. Pour in the simple syrup and stir to combine.
  5. Add ice to the glass, then fill with sparkling wine.
  6. Stir to combine, then garnish with a strawberry and lemon wheels.

Berry Moscato Mule Wine Cocktail

This wine cocktail stands out with its charming white wine foundation. We recommend using our Braganini Reserve Harvest Select Mountain Road Riesling for a subtly sweet twist, or opt for the Braganini Reserve Mountain Road RieslingReserve Riesling, and Reserve Pinot Grigio for exceptional dry choices that are packed with delightful fruity flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh berries, divided (we used blackberries, blueberries and strawberries)
  • 8 ounces white wine
  • 1 bottle ginger beer
  • 2 lime wedges
  • 2 sprigs mint
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. Set a few of the berries aside to garnish the cocktails. Place the remaining berries in a bowl and muddle them together to release their juices. Allow the berries to sit for at least 5 minutes.
  2. Split the berry mixture evenly between two copper mugs or cocktail glasses.
  3. Add 4 ounces of wine to each cocktail, top with ice, and stir to combine.
  4. Fill each glass with ginger beer and top each with a lime wedge, mint and reserved berries. Serve and enjoy.

Lemon Rosemary Ginger White Wine Spritzer

This is a great recipe to try with a white wine blend! We suggest our Coastline White Blend is a nice, crisp dry blend or our Blue Heron is a great semi-sweet white blend.
