St. Julian Winery recently earned 14 individual medals at the 2022 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. Among the honors, the winery received Best of Class for its 2020 Traminette and Double Gold for its 2020 Sauvignon Blanc. These results further highlight St. Julian’s continued success on a national stage.
Now in its 22nd year, the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition ranks as the largest competition dedicated to North American wines. This year, judges evaluated more than 5,800 wines from nearly 1,000 wineries. Entries came from across the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
“We are thrilled to receive a medal for all 14 wines we entered,” says Nancie Oxley, Vice President of Winemaking at St. Julian Winery. “These awards reflect the dedication of our entire winemaking team, cellar staff, and grower partners.” She adds, “The Best of Class and Gold medals highlight our commitment to crafting distinctive wines.
