St. Julian Winery & Distillery, Michigan’s largest and longest-operating winery, has promoted Russell Lauderdale to Chief Financial Officer.
Lauderdale brings extensive experience in manufacturing and development to the executive leadership team. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Western Michigan University. His background includes roles in cost accounting, purchasing, and integrated supply chain management. Previously, Lauderdale served as Director of Finance at St. Julian Winery & Distillery.

I also look forward to the continued success and growth of this incredible team.”
Meanwhile, Lauderdale steps into the role previously held by Sarah Braganini. Braganini will continue working closely with the administrative and management teams. In her new role, she will focus on corporate governance and purchasing.
“Over the past several years, I have had the opportunity to serve in a variety of roles and witness tremendous growth,” says Braganini. “This growth includes new tasting rooms, expanded Wine Club membership, capital improvements, and increased distribution.” She adds, “Our staff remains engaged, passionate, and dedicated to St. Julian’s success, and Russell exemplifies those qualities.”
In addition, Braganini highlights Lauderdale’s leadership experience. “He brings years of expertise in manufacturing, accounting, and supply chain management. At the same time, he balances those responsibilities as a dedicated family man. Russell strengthens an already outstanding administrative and executive leadership team.”

The winery produces award-winning wines, sparkling juices, spirits, and cider at its downtown Paw Paw location. Additionally, St. Julian operates tasting rooms in Dundee, Frankenmuth, Paw Paw, Troy, Rockford, and Union Pier.
