St. Julian Winery & Distillery is excited to announce the grand opening of its newest tasting room in Gaylord, Michigan, on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. Doors will officially open to the public at 11 a.m. at 2250 M-32 in Gaylord.
The new location brings the St. Julian tasting room experience to Northern Michigan, giving both local residents and visitors a new destination to discover the winery and distillery’s extensive portfolio of Michigan-made wines, spirits, hard ciders, and non-alcoholic beverage options.
To celebrate the grand opening, St. Julian will offer complimentary wine tastings to guests throughout the tasting room’s entire first two weeks through October 14. Visitors are invited to explore the new space, sample a variety of St. Julian wines and spirits, discover new favorites, and learn more about the winery’s more than 100-year history in Michigan.

The Gaylord tasting room marks the latest chapter for St. Julian, Michigan’s longest-running winery and first craft distillery. Founded in 1921, the family-owned company has grown from its early winemaking roots into one of Michigan’s most recognized wine and spirits producers, with six other tasting rooms located throughout the state. Beyond its tasting room locations, St. Julian products are also distributed through wholesale partners in several states across the U.S.
