Perfect for fall gatherings, this colorful concoction combines the richness of red wine like our Braganini Reserve Pinot Noir, Simply Red, or Cock of the Walk. with the crispness of apples and oranges, all kissed by a splash of our Brandy or Apple Brandy and a touch of honey. The best part? It’s easy to make ahead — just stir everything together, chill for a couple of hours, and you’re ready to serve a crowd with a splash of seasonal cheer.

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle of red wine (750mL)
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1 sliced apple
  • 1 sliced pear
  • 1 sliced orange
  • ½ cup fresh cranberries (optional)
  • 1-2 cinnamon sticks
  • ¼ cup brandy or apple brandy
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Ice cubes (for serving)

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the wine, apple cider, brandy, and honey.
  2. Add the sliced apples, pears, orange slices, cranberries, and cinnamon sticks.
  3. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours (preferably longer) to allow flavors to meld.
  5. Serve over plenty of ice, garnished with extra fruit if desired.
