St. Julian Winery & Distillery, Michigan’s largest and longest-operating winery, is debuting Michigander, a brand-new sweet wine line that celebrates Michigan.
The Michigander product line features a sweet red and sweet white wine. The Michigander red wine features fruity flavors of blueberry, eucalyptus, and raspberry with a well-balanced acidity finish while the Michigander white wine offers crisp acidity that is complemented by fruity notes of pineapple, mango, and lemon zest.
“We are thrilled to introduce these new wines that truly capture the essence of Michigan,” shares Nancie Oxley, Vice President of Winemaking. “By blending locally sourced grapes, we have created a unique and innovative spin on traditional wine. The Michigander red and white wines showcase the best flavors that our beautiful state has to offer, making them a must-try for any wine lover.”
Made with Michigan grown grapes, the Michigander wines are the latest additions to St. Julian’s portfolio joining other recent wine releases such as Strawberry Fields and Cherry Blossom.
Michigander is available for purchase at select retail partners throughout the state and at all St. Julian tasting rooms located in Paw Paw, Frankenmuth, Union Pier, Dundee, Troy, and Rockford.
