This Figgy Spritz combines everything you love about a summer wine spritz, but with a cozy fall twist! A fragrant sprig of rosemary and fig syrup bring in rich, earthy flavors that are perfect for the season. It’s an easy, impressive large-format cocktail that’s sure to wow your guests at the holiday table. Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp fig spread
  • 1 bottle of Champagne or sparkling wine
  • 4 oz elderflower liqueur
  • Ice cubes
  • 4 oz club soda
  • 1 to 2 figs sliced
  • Rosemary springs for garnish

Instructions

  1. The first step is to make the simple syrup. In a small saucepan over medium heat, cook sugar, water, and fig spread, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened and sugar is dissolved, 5 to 7 minutes. Let cool.
  2. In a large pitcher, combine Champagne or sparkling wine of choice, elderflower liqueur, and 2 oz fig syrup. Fill with ice. Top off with club soda.
  3. Pour spritz into wine glasses. Garnish with figs and rosemary.
