The distillate coming off the still is clear. In order for our A&G Apple brandy to become a nice golden brown color, it must be aged in oak barrels. It is aged for a minimum of 1 year French oak barrels. The barrels are medium toast with toasted heads, which imparts caramel aromas, nutty flavors and a delicious finish. The spirits are then aged in Solera Cream Sherry barrels before the final blend.
